Robin
is a 2006 Women's Bassmaster Tour Championship Contender and the 2005 Women's
Bass Fishing National Co-Angler of the Year. She is a single, highly motivated,
self-employed restaurant owner and a REALTOR©. She has had a long and
distinguished career in the field of Threat Assessment and Management, which
is the study of mentally ill persons who inappropriately pursue public figures.
Robin's experience in the entertainment industry and local community activities has made her well versed in the area of public speaking. She has spoken in public forums on many occasions, both large and small; from "celebrity auctioneer" at fundraisers, one-on-one pep talks with high profile clients, expert witness in highly publicized "stalking" trials, instructional seminars on safety and security and testifying in front of the California State Senate regarding the nation's first "stalking legislation".
Originally from Oklahoma, Robin's love of fishing was fostered on her family's farm ponds and summers on Lake Texoma. After living in New York and traveling extensively throughout the United States and other countries, Robin became seriously involved in tournament bass fishing while living in Los Angeles during the 1996 season. Her move to Livingston, Texas was to organize her goals of professional fishing.
Since moving to Livingston, Robin has become a successful business woman. She helped found the Livingston Specialty Merchants Guild, and she was formerly the Chairperson of the Livingston Main Street Advisory Board, on the Board of Directors of the Livingston-Polk County Chamber of Commerce and Chairperson of the Community Event Organizers. She was also Event Coordinator of the Battle for Long King Creek, a civil war reenactment, which brings thousands of re-enactors and tourists to the area for a three day event. She was a key figure in organizing, promoting and successfully obtaining the Texas State Historical Main Street revitalization designation to Livingston.
